Ear Candles

 Ear candling for adults and children may be beneficial in the temporary relief of the symptoms of-

sinus problems, ear ache, glue ear, swimmers ear, some chronic headaches, ringing in the ears, hearing difficulties, headache, irritations in the ear, sore throat and allergies.

1- lie the person down on their side in a comfortable position. Make sure the head is sitting straight and not on an angle.

2- fit the lit ear candle gently but tightly into the ear canal with a slight twisting movement.Do not force it into the canal.

3- Hold the ear candle loosely during the process. Do not squeeze tightly together and keep as vertical as possible.

4- Leave the ear candle in place until it has burned down to one CM above the red line, NO FURTHER! carefully remove from the ear and extinguish in a glass of water.

5- check to see if any residue remains in the ear, and remove with an ear cleaner or wooden stick being careful not to push the residue back into the ear.
